Norton Antivirus & Internet Security 2010-Free Download

Norton on October 8, 2009 released the 2010 Norton products, represented by Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010. Both products have been using the new security model codenamed quorum. To explain these two products Norton 2010, Norton brought David Hall, who serves as the Regional Manager of Symantec's Consumer Product Marketing, Asia Pacific. He was accompanied by Albert Lay, Technical Consultant Symantec and Effendy Ibrahim, the Consumer Business Lead South Asia Region. Norton 2010 launch of this time held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Jakarta.

David Hall explained that the quorum has been developed over three years by experts Symantec. With this new technology, Norton 2010 began to leave the signature technique that has been used on previous products. This is because cyber criminals tend to use files that have long been regarded both by certain antivirus. Then they modify certain parts so that the file is turned into malware.
Quorum method relies on a community that is owned by Symantec. This is possible because the virus uses a reputation system. Quorum track various files and applications as well as a number of attributes such as age, source downloads, digital signatures and their rate of spread. These attributes are then combined using a complex algorithm to determine the reputation of the relevant files and applications. When a file is considered to have a bad reputation, then the program will prevent you to open the file.
